As I told you before I'm madly in love with Louis Vuitton trunks. See this amazing trunk above? Believe it or not, it's not a trunk, it's a bureau.
This trunk is a complete portable desk. When you open this Malle Bureau (desk trunk) you will see a huge office complete with drawers, a central locking system, and stationary compartments to keep your pens and paper safe. When you fold out the green table you have your desktop so you can write your letters and your contracts or whatever these obscene rich people, who can afford such a trunk, write. It was produced in 1916 according to the original Louis Vuitton archives (YES they have their own archives). With only twenty of this trunks ever made, it must be one of the rarest trunks designed by Louis Vuitton. (Apart from all the custom made trunks of course) Besides that, this trunk was also one of the most expensive trunks ever made. Its interior is made of leather and the canvas on the outside of the trunk has the original LV monogram on it. The trunk in the picture was recently auctioned in Londen.
